1. Nature of Services
Hedgehog Healing provides:

• Acupuncture
   

• Cupping
   

• Moxibustion
   

• Gua Sha
   

• Tui Na massage
   

• Home visit services (where applicable)
   

All treatments follow professional standards of practice under Australian Traditional Chinese Medicine guidelines.
We do not diagnose medical conditions in place of a medical doctor, and our services are not a substitute for emergency medical care.
 
2. Appointment Policies
2.1 Booking
Appointments can be made through our website, by phone, or by email.
You must provide accurate contact and health information when booking.
2.2 Cancellations & Late Arrivals
If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, a cancellation fee may apply.
Late arrivals may result in a reduced treatment time to avoid impacting other clients.
If you want specific cancellation fee wording, I can add it.
 
3. Payment & Fees
Treatment fees are listed on our website and may change at our discretion.
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
We do not guarantee private health insurance rebates; availability depends on your insurer and policy.
 
4. Health Information & Disclosure
You agree to:

• Provide complete and accurate health information
   

• Inform us of any changes to your health status
   

• Disclose any medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, implants, or recent injuries
   

Failure to do so may affect the safety or suitability of treatment.
 
5. Consent to Treatment
By receiving treatment, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You understand the nature of acupuncture and related therapies
   

• You may experience temporary side effects such as light bruising, tenderness, or mild fatigue
   

• Rare complications (such as fainting or infection) are minimised through proper technique and hygiene
   

• You may decline or stop treatment at any time
   

You may be asked to sign a separate Informed Consent Form before or at your first appointment.
 
6. Home Visit Services
If you book a home visit:

• You must provide a safe, clean space for treatment
   

• Pets must be secured if they interfere with treatment
   

• Travel fees may apply depending on distance
   

• We reserve the right to refuse a home visit if the environment is unsafe
